Ayamaz is a mobile app for buying airtime and data, paying for electricity and cable TV, and getting WAEC PINs, all from one wallet.
What Ayamaz does
Paying for airtime, data, power and TV usually means a different app or a different agent for each one. Ayamaz puts them in one place. You top up a wallet by bank transfer, then pay for whatever you need from the same balance.
We deliver these services through networks, distribution companies and other providers, to the number, meter or smartcard you enter. Because providers can be slow or fail, the app tracks every purchase and returns the amount to your wallet when a provider confirms a failure.
How we build
Three rules we follow
- Say what is happening
- Every purchase has a status, a reference and a receipt. If a provider is slow or fails, the app says so and this website explains what follows.
- Keep your money traceable
- When you confirm, the amount is reserved in your wallet, then either spent on delivery or released back. Nothing disappears between those two states.
- Show prices in the app, not in adverts
- Prices, discounts and delivery times change with networks and providers. We show the exact figure when you are about to buy, and keep speculative claims off this website.
